Joe England
With more than 20 years experience as a freelance theatre practitioner, director and maker, Joe has developed and delivered theatre-based projects for some of the UK's leading arts organisations, including the Royal Shakespeare Company, National Theatre, Z-arts, Lowry, Manchester Royal Exchange, North West Drama, Bolton Octagon, Manchester Camerata,
Factory International, National Youth Theatre and Singapore Repertory Theatre.
Alongside his work in the professional theatre sector, Joe has extensive experience directing and facilitating youth theatre programmes. He is a highly regarded workshop leader and regularly works as an acting tutor with leading drama schools across the North West.
Joe also specialises in theatre and arts projects with a SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) focus. Most recently, he worked on Theatre Témoin's national schools and
community tour of the outdoor production Flood. Throughout his career, Joe has delivered inclusive and accessible theatre projects in a wide range of schools, educational settings and
institutions across the UK and internationally, using creative practice to engage diverse participants and audiences.
