Kate Stilitz

I am a composer, interdisciplinary artist, stage director and educator working with schools, arts organisations, local authorities and charities to bring stories to life through creative collaboration and performance.

My work ranges from Nationwide programmes developed in collaboration with conservation charities to large scale cross-borough performances, song cycle commissions and bespoke Primary curriculum-linked creative performance projects.

Working closely with schools, I deliver continued professional development that puts creative learning and high quality, accessible musical experiences at the heart of teaching and learning.

I create musical experiences for young people and intergenerational groups that provide opportunities to develop creativity through participation in dynamic interdisciplinary arts projects and performances of vibrant, ambitious new works. My compositions have been
performed across Britain, from Mareel Theatre in Shetland all the way to Minack Theatre on the rugged cliffs of the Cornish coast.
